At Nezhno StudioAI, I aim to balance AI innovation and human creativity.

The scale reflects prompt complexity, personal art input, and AI’s role. I do this to offer both a glimpse into the process and transparency. As AI emerges, I believe that transparency will help allay fears of stealing artwork and show how transformative AI art creations are versus the artwork they are trained upon. I also believe that as the public learns more about the process, there will be less fear. Less fear of AI art may create more ways for people to express themselves and take a healing journey similar to mine. Any posted artworks follow my ethical guidelines as posted here and here.

Actual Examples with Workflow Explanation

The following images are good examples of how I determine my scale rating. While I had to condense the iterative process because I am a perfectionist, which means many, many, many iterations exist, I edited the workflow to include the most representative examples.

Midjourney 6 (Feb 10th, 2024)

Complex Prompt:

Complex Prompt:

Moodboards, Profiles, and ChatGPT Use:

While this has no iterations or editing software used, I did create custom moodboards and profiles using Midjourney.

  • Moodboard 1: Trained on 40+ selfies of my face (fun times as I hate taking selfies)

  • Moodboard 2: Trained on 100+ images of Art Nouveau and merged Steampunk + Art Nouveau (Tech Nouveau).

  • Profile: Trained on 700+ random Midjourney user-created images.

Also, I used ChatGPT to refine the prompt for Midjourney. I explained what I wanted and what I was getting, and then I modified the suggested prompt based on my own working knowledge. Thus, due the the convergence of personalization and ChatGPT, I rated this a 6/10 (roughly) on the AI to human scale.

Complex Process, Multiple Prompts, Moodboards and Original Photography:

It started with the original photograph below. Then, I used Midjourney to reskin, reimagine, and edit the image with multiple moodboards and various separate AI images. Finally, I pulled it together with a graphic design program before one final reskin through Midjourney.

NOTE: Artworks created before February 2025 will not have this scale because I did not create these images with transparency in mind. In most cases, especially with those made by ChatGPT, I do not have a way to retrieve the prompt. However, I have used these ethics since DALL-E 3 was released, as I modeled them after the content policy of Open AI. As a result, I do not sell artworks created prior to the creation of my transparency policy (2025).
